It's Finally Spring!!!!!

Ok, So I love spring. It is my favorite time of the year. Everything is coming back to life. The days are longer, and I have all this energy.

I have been organizing the garage and the craft room. I still have a long way to go, but I am making great progress and it feels wonderful.

I have also been out in the yard alot, cleaning up shrubs and getting ready to plant my garden. I hope we are past all the cold we have had the last week. I have built two more boxes to add more strawberries and squash/zucchini. I love spring fever!

I am starting back to school on the 27th of March, so I really want to get all this stuff done before then. I registered this week and will be taking two classes. A math and an accounting class. I will be attending M-Th from 9:15a - 12:50pm (with a small break in between classes). So I think the biggest challenge will be to learn to balance everything, especially homework! Mady sets the bar pretty high. She makes all A's and B's, and is in seminary and on the track team and taking piano lessons, etc. Plus there are chores and homework and church. She is the second counselor for the MiaMaids. She has choir concerts and track meets, and Mutual. I am getting dizzy just thinking of all the stuff she does! I guess I should keep in mind that she is also more than 20 years younger than me, so maybe I shouldn't compare myself to her after all.

Well if I haven't said so before, I love living in the south where the winters are mild and short. I'm not real fond of the HOT summers, but spring is wonderful, and fall is a close second. (I can plant fall crops then too! It's great!) I keep telling Nathan that I want to move to Oklahoma when Mady graduates, but they have nasty winters there, so we will just have to see. (Sorry Mary) Maybe I can get the whole family to move out here! Ok, so maybe not, but it's worth discussing. :p

  2. I'm glad to have you on board with our organizing clan! It seems like we have a lot in common - I've been getting my square foot gardens all ready to plant too. It'll be fun being blog buddies!
